We’re Rose and Julian, the husband and wife duo behind Silly Millie’s.
When we became parents, we quickly realized how special it is to watch your child explore the world through play. Like many toddlers, Millie sometimes found social play overstimulating and needed extra time to feel comfortable. That’s where soft play became our safe space— a place for her to build confidence, express her playful spirit, and explore at her own pace through climbing, crawling, bouncing, and sensory play.
We wanted to create something that not only celebrates those moments but also makes them effortless for other families. After moving to Elk Grove to start our family, we knew we wanted to connect with our community as new parents. Seeing the magic that play brings to a child’s world is what inspired us to start this business.
With Rose’s background in design and Julian’s work as a physical therapist, Silly Millie’s became the perfect blend of both our worlds— combining thoughtful, functional play with modern aesthetics. Julian focuses on the movement, coordination, and developmental benefits of play, while Rose loves bringing every setup to life with memorable, beautiful details.
Together, we pour our hearts into every celebration— designing spaces that inspire joy, creativity, and connection. From birthdays to baby showers, playdates to corporate events, we’re here to bring modern, memorable, and silly fun to every occasion.
